So I’ve touched on this a few times before but thought I’d revisit it during this lull in the COVID-mania, as we’re all distracted with what’s going on on the other side of the planet. Putin seems to have magically vanquished COVID from our consciousness, unless you’re a 2 to 4 year old in school or daycare in New York City where Eric Adams, their new genius mayor has decided those kids, due to all sorts of “science” beyond my meager comprehension, must continue to mask up. You see, these are the people now most "at risk" as they have not been granted the privilege of getting vaxxed...yet.
Anyway, for those true believers out there who cannot afford to recognize that our overlords and medical “experts” are, almost to a man (or woman – no discrimination here), either incompetent idiots or something more nefarious, I present the CDC’s accounting system. If you can explain some rationale behind it, you’re a better man than I am (although according to many, not a high bar to overcome).
On one CDC page entitled “Weekly Updates by Select Demographic and Geographic Characteristics” under the subheading “Sex and Age” the age ranges for COVID deaths among “All Sexes” (because, you know, science), are as follows: 0-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-64, 65-74, 75-84, 85+. The date range is 2020-2022. Total deaths 979,163. Right away one could ask why these brackets are not broken down uniformly by decade. Some might say that everyone under 18 is considered a “child” so that explains the 0-17, then 18-29. That of course is nonsense since different states (from whence this data comes) assign different ages to “child”. I believe one might be considered a “child” up to age 16 all the way up to 21 depending on the state. And even if that was a legitimate exception, why 50-64? As I have discussed before, that is almost certainly to conflate the risks of younger 50-somethings with older people, thereby giving “experts” and talking heads the cudgel they need to scare you into getting vaxxed. Notice the two groups before and two groups after are a ten year span, but not 50-64. I wonder why.
On another CDC page entitled “Provisional COVID-19 Deaths: Focus on Ages 0-18 Years” the age ranges are: 0-4, 5-18, 19-44, 45-64, 65-74, 75+. The date range is 1/4/2020-3/26/2022. Total deaths 979,158. Not anywhere near the age ranges used on the first page.
On yet another CDC page entitled “Provisional COVID-19 Deaths by Sex and Age” (not to be confused with the first page above), the age ranges are: under 1 year, 0-17, 1-4, 5-14, 15-24, 18-29, 25-34, 30-39, 35-44, 40-49, 45-54, 50-64, 55-64, 65-74, 75-84, 85+. The date range is 1/1/20-3/26/22. Total deaths 979,163. It appears these folks are snorting their Ritalin; not the best idea.
Finally, when it comes to hospitalizations, on the CDC page entitled “Laboratory-Confirmed COVID-19-Associated Hospitalizations” the age ranges are: 0-4, 5-17, 18-49, 50-64, 65+.
So my question is, why all the different age ranges? Why are they not uniform across all platforms? I’m not sure, but I would assume all of these graphs and charts are being produced in the same building, or at the very least by people who work for the same organization; I assume there’s one group of 100 monkeys banging away at typewriters in one room for one page and right across the hall is another group of 100 monkeys banging away at typewriters for another page. I assume they talk to each other around the banana tree, but apparently nobody has ever asked why each group has its only data set parameters…stupid monkeys! But that is curious, no? What POSSIBLE reason could there be for these discrepancies? It’s either total and complete incompetence or a purposeful attempt to obfuscate the data thereby allowing for manipulation of same to serve whatever narrative is being pushed.
By the way, if you actually look at these numbers, you will see that the risk of death from COVID for a child newborn to five years old after more than two years of this nonsense is about 0.002%, or two one-thousandths of one percent. Somebody should let Mayor Adams know that so maybe those two-year-olds can take off their masks (which do nothing anyway). SCIENCE!!
Remember this come September when we once again focus our attention on the evil ‘rona, and the imperative for a fifth shot takes center stage. We are being led either by idiots or liars. Your choice.
