DR. STEVEN BACALL
Owner; Chiropractor; BrainCore Neurofeedback Provider; Lover of dogs, his family, and babies.
Dr. Steven Bacall is a lifelong New Jersey resident. He attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history with minors in both anatomy and philosophy. Dr. Steve was on his way to becoming a veterinarian when, after an encounter with traditional medicine for an “indeterminate viral infection” he realized there must be a better healthcare model available than just drugs and surgery. Through much research, Dr. Steve learned of chiropractic care. He was immediately drawn to the concept of the body as a self-healing organism and after learning of chiropractic’s century-long track record of helping people regain their health through all-natural means, he was hooked. In 1997 Dr. Steve graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Ga. and after marrying his beautiful bride Kerri he began practice in 1998 and has been going ever since.
Dr. Steve is board-certified to practice chiropractic healthcare through four separate national examinations as well as state examinations and he has also received board certification in the application of physiologic therapeutics. Additionally, he has earned post-graduate certification in whiplash injury diagnosis and treatment through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, as well as certification in chiropractic utilization review through the New York Chiropractic College Centre for Postgraduate and Continuing Education. Dr. Steve prides himself on being a different kind of healthcare provider than you may be used to, and his goal is to help as many people as he can truly improve their health and their lives. Dr. Steve focuses on unlocking the body's self-healing potential through chiropractic adjustments and ensuring the body has the right support to achieve this goal through diet modification and nutritional supplementation.

SARA A. YOUNER
Acupuncturist; Chinese Medicine Practitioner; Member of a large, loving family.
Sara A. Youner is an acupuncturist and herbal medicine practitioner, licensed in New York and New Jersey. She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City with a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and practices in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area. Before she decided to pursue a career as a health care provider, she was a full-time attorney in New York City. After moving to Springfield, New Jersey. She reduced her legal workload to allow her to focus on raising her seven children. She also became involved in many community activities; working as an emergency medical technician for the Springfield First Aid Squad, and volunteering as a La Leche League leader.
Her service with La Leche enabled her to help first-time nursing mothers learn how to bond with their babies through the most natural process of breastfeeding. With additional training, she became a Certified Lactation Consultant, her first professional venture into health and wellness. Ultimately Sara decided to enroll in Pacific College to study acupuncture and herbal medicine and today her practice covers the full range of natural healing. Her internships at Pacific College and at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital taught her the versatility of acupuncture not only as a pain management tool but as a non-drug, non-surgical approach to a diverse range of health conditions and maladies as well. Her practical experience underscored the guiding philosophy that acupuncture, in conjunction with western medicines and other traditional modalities, enables the body to heal itself.
In addition to her Master’s degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Sara holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Queens College, a Master’s degree in Library Science from Columbia University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. She is also a licensed attorney in New York and New Jersey.
