VERMONT VS. WEST VIRGINIA

11/17/21

So yesterday our overlord for all things COVID (that would be Anthony Fauci) told us in a piece reported by ABC News entitled "Fauci warns of 'double whammy' in possible winter surge" (my caps) “Combatting any “IMPENDING VIRAL ONSLAUGHT” this winter hinges on how many more sleeves roll up for MORE SHOTS…” "double whammy", that's fun to say (shout out ELF) and “IMPENDING VIRAL ONSLAUGHT” is a good one too, I wonder who writes his material…Anyway, it’s clear that the powers-that-be will not stop shaking that vaccine tree; it is after all our ONLY way out of this pandemic. So much so that Dr. Fauci also said “I happen to believe as an immunologist and infectious disease person, that a THIRD SHOT BOOSTER for an mRNA IS LIKELY -- should be part of the actual STANDARD REGIMEN, where a booster ISN’T A LUXURY; a booster ISN’T AN ADD ON; and a booster is part of what the ORIGINAL REGIMEN SHOULD BE -- so that when we look back on this, we're going to see that BOOSTERS ARE ESSENTIAL for an optimal vaccine regimen…"

Hey remember when conspiracy nuts like me warned that the “booster” would become just the third “required” shot in what will become a never-ending series of “required” shots? So will all you really obedient and really smart people who actually believe you “know” something about this virus because lying idiots like Fauci or Biden or Walensky tell you so now start condemning the stupid, selfish, science-denying slobs who only get two shots? Will the two-shotters become the “them” who are now endangering the rest of us? Good times.

But here’s a sincere and sober question: We see now that two shots provide a very short-lived window of “protection” from being infected with the ‘rona; what EXACTLY (aside from what the lying idiots tell you) makes you think a third shot will do the trick? What EXACTLY makes you think your immune system will react any differently to a third shot as opposed to a second? I think that’s a fair question that any rational person who will be pushing grandma out of the way to get in line for #3 should be able to answer. In case you’re interested, the CDC says right on their very own website “CDC recommends that people with moderately to severely compromised immune systems receive an ADDITIONAL DOSE of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 28 DAYS after a second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine or Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine (sic). 28 DAYS. Not six months after your last shot, you can get #3 just 28 DAYS after #2. That’s now a thing. Hey remember when I said you would become part of the “Vaccine of the Month Club”? Silly me.  Hey remember when the idea of a third “booster” was originally floated – only for the “moderately to severely compromised”, then yeah maybe sort of for everybody who wants it, and now it “ISN’T A LUXURY” and it is now part of what the “ORIGINAL REGIMEN SHOULD BE”? See how that works? How big will your vaccine card need to be to get you into a restaurant? By the way, who exactly would the “moderately to severely compromised be? Most people I speak to about the vax say something like “Well I have X or I am Y” so they “need” the vaccine. It seems lots and lots of people consider themselves “vulnerable” because of some health condition which they believe might adversely affect their immune system. So who EXACTLY is left outside the bubble of the “moderately compromised”? Is it just the rubes too stupid to know they “need” the vaccine because they’re weak and defenseless against a virus with an at worst 99.8% survival rate? Stupid rubes!

Anyway, I guess those are questions way above my pay grade so I’ll just leave those obviously very technical answers to the “experts”. Now let’s turn to the title of this piece.

As you may know if you’ve been reading my diatribes, Vermont is and has been for some time the most highly vaccinated state in the country – not a particularly hard feat when you only have about 624,000 residents – but in any event Vermont is in the northeast where all the smart people live and this distinction obviously makes Vermont home to the smartest, most sophisticated people in the good old USA. By contrast, West Virginia (the slovenly, slightly “off” step cousin to Vermont who never gets invited to family get-togethers) is and has been for a while the least vaccinated state in the nation. So we would obviously expect, by what we’re told about the importance and effectiveness of vaccines, that there would be no comparison between these two states when it comes to “cases” of the ‘vid. But not so fast.

Over the last two months in West Virginia (from September 16 through November 16), the case count DECREASED some 61%. That’s great news, but how? Well for those who “know” something the obvious answer is those West Virginians smartened up and started getting vaxxed. And indeed that’s what the data shows. Hallelujah, they’ve seen the light!! On September 16 West Virginia had a fully vaxxed rate of a criminally insane 40%. How there was anyone left alive is a mystery but those who survived obviously listened to Uncle Joe and kicked the vax rate into high gear and over the next two months, while case counts were dropping 61%, the troglodytes of WV raised their state fully-vaxxed rate all the way up to…41%. Wait wut? How is that possible? We’ve been told in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that the vax is the ONLY way to stop the ‘rona yet here we see a 61% decrease in cases during an only 1% increase in vax coverage which still leaves WV at the bottom of the evolutionary barrel with just a 41% coverage. How do you explain that?

Well maybe a look at the aforementioned valedictorian Green Mountain State will help clear up this mystery. Let’s see, during the same time period (9/16-11/16) while their vax rate increased from an impressive 69% to an even better 72%, the case count in Vermont, umm…INCREASED 86%?!? Wait a minute, that CANNOT BE RIGHT. But alas, it is. So for all those out there in TV land who “know” what they “know”, how do you explain this? As of this moment, Vermont with a fully vaxxed rate some 75% HIGHER than WV has a population case rate 50% HIGHER than WV. Hmm, I wonder how that is possible.

Maybe, just maybe, what we’ve been told about vaccines isn’t really the case. Are you at least open to that possibility? Next time maybe we’ll discuss the data on vaccines and cases, hospitalizations and deaths out of the UK. Spoiler alert for those who cannot afford to recognize the Emperor has no clothes, it ain't pretty. I wonder why our government doesn’t produce that kind of data? Oh well, moving on…

So once again I am not telling you not to get vaccinated (although you might want to think three times before you jab Junior) but I am trying to get you to recognize that if you are worshipping at the altar of Fauci, there might be better ways to spend your time. Maybe one of these days I’ll write about how this is not a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” but is really a “pandemic of the fat”. Not only are the overweight right up there at the top of the list for serious interactions with COVID, the science shows that overweight people produce more virus, shed more virus, and shed it longer than those not overweight. So maybe we should all be afraid of “them”. Haven’t heard that from Fauci or Biden or any of your favorite talking heads? No? I wonder why. If you get yourself healthy, even if you’re old, you have essentially nothing to worry about from COVID. That is a mathematical fact. Start sleeping more, eating better (stop eating garbage), exercising more consistently; maybe throw a little meditation or mindfulness in there, maybe stop watching the talking heads who are only interested in scaring you for the revenue you generate for them, and take control of your own health destiny. You will not find salvation in a syringe. Until next time, go hug a human.
