This series of mindfulness sessions will offer an opportunity to explore your emotions through the lens of scientifically based mindfulness practices guided by a certified mindfulness instructor.
Who should attend?

What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is paying attention to present moment thoughts and sensations of the body and mind, without judging oneself.
Have you ever asked yourself how your current life got so off track from the life you dreamed of?
Mindfulness practices have been scientifically proven to increase the ability to focus the mind, pay attention, concentrate and regulate emotions. These life skills are essential “remedies” to the fast paced, often chaotic lives many of us find ourselves living.
Mindfulness allows us to get off the “hamster wheel of life” and begin to lead fulfilling and joyous lives.
What can you expect?
You will learn how to recognize subtle (and not so subtle) indications from the body and mind around emotions, that are clues to gently escort you in the direction of your joy.
Although this is not a “therapy” session, great effort will be made to ensure that the “group” dynamic offers a safe, non-judgmental container in which you may explore your own mind with curious awareness and receive support in the process.
