Who should attend this program? Teachers, parents or anyone who needs support through mindfulness/meditation practice, for themselves, or the people who rely on them.
You should attend this program if you have been struggling with a roller coaster of emotions, especially during the pandemic, leaving you feeling a sense of loss of control, anger, depression, isolation, sadness, fear or hopelessness.
In this online workshop you will learn a basic introduction to scientifically proven mindfulness/meditation to begin or enhance your practice.
We will focus on navigating difficult emotions in the "middle of the storm". You will be given an introduction to skills and practices to utilize deactivation of a revved up nervous system which will increase your self awareness, increase your ability to self soothe, and increase your immune system. With practice and a slight change of focus of habits, you will feel happier, your relationships will improve, your self esteem will increase and you will be holistically healthier.
The format is discussion, slide show, Q&A and meditation with resources for practice with an online group.
