COVID SCIENCE AND DATA ALERT!
CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY
So, it was announced yesterday to great fanfare that “Moderna has begun testing its COVID-19 vaccine on young children” WTF? I addressed this previously when it was announced that experiments would begin on pregnant women.
Capitalization is mine for emphasis: "The study, called KidCOVE, is testing Moderna's vaccine candidate in children ages 6 MONTHS TO LESS THAN 12 YEARS OLD... this pediatric study will help us assess the POTENTIAL SAFETY AND IMMUNOGENICITY of our COVID-19 vaccine candidate in this important younger age population...The vaccine's effectiveness, as well as its SAFETY AND REACTOGENICITY (potential side effects like injection-site pain, headache and fever) will be STUDIED." Translation: “We’re gonna stick this brand new, rushed-to-market garbage into your child and see what happens. We have no idea what the short or long-term effects might be, that’s why we’re using you baby – so we can find out. OK?” Wow.
But I’m glad to know the only “potential side effects” of concern are things like soreness and headaches (that’s sarcastic if it isn’t coming through). For the record, the population fatality rate from COVID for kids newborn to age 17 is about 0.0003%. That's three ten-thousandths of one percent. Why exactly is this younger age population “important”? They don’t get sick, they don’t die, there is no evidence that young kids spread infection to anyone. And you’re going to hand your child over to LITERALLY be a Guinea pig? Are you crazy?
According to a 2017 paper published in the International Criminal Law Review concerning scientific research on humans “…the most appalling cases that have come to light concern testing of vaccines and drugs on children.” The author states “This Article argues that massive experiments conducted in disregard of universal bioethical principles and human rights may amount to crimes against humanity under international criminal law.” But if we have to experiment on children to help protect grandma, so be it right? I’m pretty sure if you actually asked grandma if she was willing to have her grandchildren experimented on to help protect her, she wouldn’t be on board with that. But maybe I’m wrong.
Of course, some will point out that I am no more of an international criminal law expert than I am a virologist or immunologist. Fair enough. But I’m also not insane. Quick, just react without thinking to this question and be honest: How would you react if you were at a restaurant and saw a pregnant woman drinking a glass of wine or you saw a six year old drinking a beer? ‘Nuff said.
